Adoption Issues

In 1996, I sponsored legislation allowing adoptees 21 and older to gain access to their original birth certificates. The legislation failed to become law because not enough people stayed actively involved lobbying their Senators and Representatives.

I would like to know if there is still interest among Illinois adoptees in having access to their orginal birth certificate.
